Requirements:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree and 3+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience estimating public works and/or private projects: commercial, residential, industrial, and/or civil
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must have valid driver license
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

  

Job Description:

  • Meet with Project Managers, Customers, and/or Customers' Agents to obtain complete understanding of job requirements and documents as necessary before project start
  • Produce detailed scopes of work
  • Prepares material quantity take-offs for scopes of work that we self-preform
  • Solicits and obtains material and subcontractor quotes
  • Produces estimates that are accurate and consider risk factors and construction methods
  • Identifies and reports errors, ambiguities, and missing information in contract documents
  • Maintain high production, safe work habits, and high morale/motivational levels on the job
  • Complete and forward all necessary paperwork as directed and in a timely manner
  • Communicate with customer's agents, other contractors, subcontractors, and others as required
  • Maintain and promote good customer relations at all times
  • Works as part of a team in an office-setting
  • Comply with company policy and procedural guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
